Expediters in this role get to: 

  • Strengthen relationships: Liaise with cross-functional teams to drive velocity, backlog management, and order hold rate 
  • Support the team: Provide support to Sales Representatives; Provide additional assistance for specific orders until the online process is ready to launch 
  • Impact the bottom line: Process high volume orders, including heavier workloads at quarter-end; Perform order entry for new orders and provisioning for manual process prior to enabling the support portal; Research customer problems and deliver solutions 
  • Keep Sutherland aligned: Facilitate order audits and quality control processes; Audit forms to confirm all information is captured and all data needed is complete 
  • Drive Sutherland forward: Assist with streamlining order management procedures and building a high velocity sales process 
  • Define Sutherland’s reputation: Provide service to customers who have procured devices directly from the client 

Qualifications

Our most successful candidates will have:

  • High School Diploma
  • One or more years of work experience in customer service related Order Management
  • Experience with CRM systems (Oracle, Salesforce) preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner
  • Ability to be attentive to details
  • Ability to be pro-active in developing trust and professional rapport with customers and team members; work as a team-player
  • The ability to rise to a challenge - remain flexible, communicate openly regarding obstacles, and develop creative strategies to overcome those obstacles
  • Excellent problem diagnosis and problem solving skills in a fast paced environment
