Sutherland is seeking a reliable and organized person to join us as a Benefits Associate Manager. The Benefits Associate Manager assists employees with benefits enrollment and questions, manages all insurance billing, maintains employee database and files, and assists with payroll processing.   Benefits Associate Managers in this role get to:


·     Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, and wellness benefit

·    Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits enrollment

·     Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in the payroll system for payroll deduction

·     Assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims

·    Verify the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs

·    Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives

·     Review and respond to unemployment claims with appropriate documentation

·    Coordinate workers' compensation claims with third-party administrator and follow up on claims

·    Assist HR Director in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process that will benefit the company

·    Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs.

·   Ensure distribution of required employee notices

·    Prepare and maintain biweekly employee reports and new-hire reports

·   Assist HR Director in completing benefits reporting requirements

·   Perform other duties as assigned  






 Our most successful candidates will have:


·    A College or University diploma (required)

·    Two to four years of experience in benefits administration or in a related field

·     A benefits specific certification
