Sutherland is looking for a Corporate and Brand Marketing Manager - Reporting. This position supports the Corporate and Brand Marketing function and is responsible for back-office marketing functions. This person in this role is responsible for performing research and providing insights regarding the market, trends, competitors, potential and existing customers, and current campaigns, and is also responsible for analyzing and reporting on Sutherland marketing performance and metrics.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  •      Develops, maintains, and distributes monthly dashboards and reports that effectively communicate the status and progress of the functions within the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer.
  •      Collaborates with key corporate partners (such as specialists of Demand Creation, Earned Media, Web Marketing & Platforms, and Creative Services) to collect, analyze, and distribute information for monthly dashboards.
  •      Conducts research and frequently tracks marketing activity of company’s core competitors. Distributes applicable communication to the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer to keep team apprised of competitive marketing activities.
  •      Coordinates with external vendors (as appropriate) to develop and execute against brand health surveys.
  •      Develops and maintain in-depth reports and analysis that evaluate the efficacy of marketing and its related functions, such as events, email prospecting, and internal engagement with marketing materials
  •      Develops and maintains annual awards calendar, and manages the submissions process for the company’s corporate-level awards, Partners with Corporate and Brand Marketing Manager on content to promote and communicate award
  •      Maintains a list of the company’s current and impactful certifications that can be used for marketing purposes, and contributes towards certification applications as appropriate. Partners with Corporate and Brand Marketing Manager on content to promote and communicate key certifications.
  •      Supports the Leader, Corporate and Brand Marketing with coordination and preparation of global marketing meetings and communications
  •      Actively participates on staff committees as necessary and appropriate.
  •      Ensures conformance to corporate style and brand guidelines
  •      Other duties and administrative functions as directed and required.

 

Qualifications

 

 

Experience and Personality:

 

The person must be highly credible; a pro-active self-starter with a hands-on attitude and ability to work with others in a virtual environment. Further, this individual must be effective in a ‘lean’ work environment.

The successful candidate will have 5 - 7+ years’ experience in marketing research and analytics, and proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role, and at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in marketing, marketing communications, or a related field.  Master’s degree preferred.

The ability to develop and tailor communications pending internal audience, with an emphasis on effectively communicating to senior leadership

    3.     PRESENTATION & STORYTELLING: Ability to present data visually, and succinctly, so that organizational leaders can understand and action on the insights.
