Job Description

Sutherland is seeking an analytical and strategic-thinking person to join us as Manager of Operational Excellence. We are a group of driven and hard-working individuals. Managers in this role get to:

  • Impact the bottom line: Support the Service Delivery team in achieving optimal efficiency metrics; utilize gap analysis and process improvement activities
  • Drive Sutherland forward: Implement high impact projects targeting financial gains on a regular basis; work with leadership to achieve promoter status, grow current business, and win new clients
  • Develop the team: Provide direction, coaching, and development for Performance Managers and Business Analysts
  • Keep Sutherland aligned: Work with team members and leadership to ensure compliance in all organizational standard procedures and policies; oversee audits and reports


Our most successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five or more years of process transformation experience (Two or more years in a managerial capacity); experience leading various operational functions in a process transformation environment
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills; be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and keep track of multiple schedules, meetings, and initiatives
  • Ability to be persistent in working through challenges and doing whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Ability to be attentive to details
  • Ability to be strategic in developing solutions and process improvements
