Sell and positively promote Client Auto & Home insurance products to potential customers within an inbound call center environment.  Adhere to the approved taking points and processes when handling phone calls, answer product related questions, generate quotes, bind policies, and refer / transfer callers to other Client departments if required. Consultant is also responsible performing work tasks within established protocols to achieve operational requirements and metrics. Outbound calling will be required – no cold calling is required.
 
  • Build relationships across business functions to help enhance customer centric processes
  • Manage multiple computer systems while interacting with customers
  • Ability to follow mandatory quality/compliance guidelines for the protection of our business and customers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced call center sales environment
  • Retain information and adapt quickly to changes
  • Thoroughly completes applications, forms, and state-specific documents
  • Passionate about sales and providing the best solutions to our prospects and customers
  • Conduct business with the highest levels of professionalism – honesty, integrity, and respect
  • Adapts to each potential client; describes and explains all complex policy forms and coverage through simple terms
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or required
  • Meet all sales metrics within the first 6 months of employment
  • Includes managing the following:
     
    • Closing Ratio
    • Cancel Ratio
    • Quote to Inquiry Ratio
    • Quality Assurance/Compliance
    • Sales Goals

Qualifications

Our most successful candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated ability to perform at a high level, to support our high volume of inbound calls
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient reading skills required
  • Multi-tasking skills, showcased through the use of several applications; experience working with CRM applications preferred
  • Basic PC keyboarding skills; basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) experience required
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
