Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant with specialized expertise in Buying & Invoicing. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba, focusing on implementing, configuring, and optimizing the Buying & Invoicing (B&I) modules. This role requires a deep understanding of procurement processes, invoice management, and supplier collaboration, along with the ability to lead end-to-end B&I projects in a dynamic business environment. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

 
1. SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing Implementation: 

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing modules, ensuring solutions meet specific business requirements. 

  • Oversee end-to-end implementation projects, from requirement gathering to go-live, ensuring successful and timely delivery. 

  • Customize SAP Ariba B&I solutions to support procurement, purchase order processing, and invoice automation, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. 

2. Process Optimization and Best Practices: 

  • Analyze current procurement and invoicing processes, identifying areas for improvement and streamlining using SAP Ariba. 

  • Implement industry best practices for buying and invoicing, driving efficiency and compliance across the organization. 

  • Provide recommendations for enhancing supplier collaboration and improving the accuracy and speed of invoice processing. 
     

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Training: 

  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and AP (Accounts Payable) teams to understand their needs and translate them into SAP Ariba solutions. 

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure they are fully equipped to utilize the SAP Ariba platform effectively. 

  • Act as a subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on how to leverage SAP Ariba B&I to achieve business objectives. 
     

4. Integration and Collaboration: 

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP Ariba B&I integrates seamlessly with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP FI) and non-SAP systems. 

  • Manage data integration and flow between SAP Ariba and other enterprise applications, ensuring accurate and timely data exchange. 
     

5. Compliance and Documentation: 

  • Ensure all procurement and invoicing activities within SAP Ariba comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. 

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals. 

  • Provide regular status reports on project progress, process improvements, and system performance to management. 
     

6. Support and Continuous Improvement: 

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing solutions, addressing any issues and optimizing system performance. 

  • Monitor system usage and performance, making necessary adjustments to enhance functionality and user satisfaction. 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP Ariba developments and releases, incorporating new features and enhancements into the organization's processes. 
     

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba, with a strong focus on Buying & Invoicing (B&I) modules. 

  • Proven track record of leading successful SAP Ariba B&I implementations and optimizations. 

  • Deep understanding of procurement processes, purchase order management, invoice automation, and supplier management. 

  • Experience with SAP Ariba configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement effective solutions for complex business scenarios. 

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in conducting training sessions and workshops. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced environment. 
     

Preferred Qualifications: 
 

  • SAP Ariba certification in Buying & Invoicing. 

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its integration with SAP Ariba. 

  • Knowledge of procurement and invoicing best practices and industry standards. 

  • Familiarity with supplier collaboration and network capabilities within SAP Ariba. 

Education: Any Graduate or B.Tech
